The Resistance is a fictional movement of resistance and private paramilitary force headed by General Leia Organa, who opposes the First Order in the Star Wars fictional universe.

It is a split of the New Republic's military and draws inspiration from the Rebel Alliance that had established the New Republic after its war with the Galactic Empire.
