MEMENTO MORI – Deep Laser Engraved Metal Coin
This is not a conventional stamped challenge coin. Each Memento Mori piece is produced through an extremely time-intensive deep laser engraving process, creating an unusually deep and highly dimensional relief out of brass blanks

The front alone requires approximately 12 hours of laser machining. The outer edge and reverse side each require several additional hours of processing. This slow manufacturing process allows the laser to remove material layer by layer and create a depth that would be difficult to achieve with standard coin production.
At 38 × 58 mm and an impressive 8.5 mm overall thickness, the coin has a substantial, almost sculptural presence. The engraving reaches up to 6.5 mm deep, giving the skull and surrounding architectural details a dramatic three-dimensional appearance.
The aged metal finish further emphasizes the deep recesses, raised surfaces and fine textures of the design.
